While LOs focus on client relationships, rate shopping, and origination, Marcus handles the systems, processes, and behind-the-scenes work that keeps deals moving from application to close. Document collection, file organization, lender communication, pipeline management, quality control — the dozens of operational tasks that determine whether a loan closes on time or falls apart.
His role is critical — and often invisible — which is exactly how he likes it. When everything is working the way it should, Marcus's contribution goes unnoticed by clients. But every loan officer on the team knows exactly what he does and why it matters.
Marcus doesn't originate loans. He makes sure the loans that are originated actually close. There's a difference, and it's a big one.
