Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our pre-qualification form or otherwise contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, loan purpose, property state, and estimated credit score range. If you write to us, we keep what you send.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we receive your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site you arrived from. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for this.

Information from third parties. If you move forward with a loan application, we receive information from credit bureaus, employers, financial institutions, and similar sources. That only happens after you authorize it separately within the application itself.

How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects without human involvement.

SMS and text messaging

If you check the consent box under our pre-qualification form, you are giving prior express written consent for Olympus Financial, LLC and its loan officers to contact you at the number you provided — including by autodialed or prerecorded calls and text messages — about your mortgage or financing inquiry.

We do not share your mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Mobile information obtained as part of the SMS consent process — including your phone number and your consent itself — is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except subcontractors and service providers acting on our behalf strictly to deliver the messaging service.

A few things worth stating plainly:

Full messaging terms are in our Terms & Conditions.

When we share information

We share your information in four situations, and no others:

Investors and lenders. As a broker and correspondent lender, we submit your scenario to investors and lenders in our network to evaluate and place your loan. This is the core of what you have asked us to do.

Service providers. Companies that operate our systems on our behalf — customer relationship management, messaging delivery, email delivery, analytics, document handling, and loan origination software. They are permitted to use your information only to provide those services to us.

Legal and regulatory. Where required by law, subpoena, court order, or examination by a state or federal regulator.

Business transfer. If Olympus is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information. And as stated above, we do not share mobile opt-in data or consent for anyone else’s marketing.

Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act notice

As a mortgage broker and correspondent lender, Olympus Financial, LLC is a financial institution under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. When you begin a loan application, you will receive a separate GLBA Privacy Notice describing how nonpublic personal financial information is collected, shared, and protected, along with any right you have to limit that sharing.

That notice governs application information. This policy governs your use of this website and your interactions with us before you apply.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, how long people stay, and where they arrived from.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site function. You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically through Google’s browser add-on.

Your choices and rights

Residents of certain states, including Florida, Colorado, Georgia, Texas, and Illinois, may have additional rights under state privacy law — including the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion, and to opt out of certain processing. We honor verified requests as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

How long we keep information

We keep your information as long as needed for the purposes described here and to meet our legal, licensing, and record-retention obligations. Consent records — including the timestamp, the form used, and the consent language in effect — are retained for at least five years.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
